01 · BLUFF / AIR
The highest ground in the country, on Cayman Brac.
Dry white height. Frangipani, sea grape leaf, sun-bleached grass, limestone dust. Scent in development.
02 · CAYMANITE / EARTH
A banded stone laid down in the fissures of the Bluff.
Warm mineral. Red clay, labdanum, saffron, dry cedar, a trace of hot iron. Scent in development.

The fossil limestone where the island meets the sea.
Sea salt, seaweed, wet rock, driftwood, clean ambergris. Scent in development.

The deepest water in the Caribbean.
Black pepper, ink, ambrette, cold musk, a far-off smoke. Scent in development.

FIRST POUR
Fifty candles. Coconut shells. One first edition.
Bianca first poured candles into coconut shells at a kitchen table. The planned first edition is fifty more, each shell prepared by hand, numbered and dated.
